Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar filed a defamation case of Rs 500 crore on a YouTuber named Rashid Siddiqui. The Youtuber is allegedly posting fake videos related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and accused Akshay for helping Riya Chakraborty flee to Canada. Siddiqui earlier arrested for spreading the fake news and claiming the name of Maharashtra CM Udhav Thackrey with his son Aditya Thackrey in the case.
This Youtuber used the digital media in spreading the fake news about several celebrities in order to increase followers.
Accused Akshay to be not happy with Sushant’s Progress
According to the recent reports, Siddiqui said that Akshay Kumar was not happy after Sushant Singh Rajput’s received movie ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. The report also claims that this YouTuber earned Rs 15 lakhs in just four month by running content related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput’s. This 25-year-old youth, civil Engineer from Bihar accused of defamation, intentional insult and mischief. He runs a channel on YouTube called FF News.
Police came into action when Shiv Sena lawyer Dharmendra Mishra filed a case against YouTuber for spreading fake news in Sushant singh case. During the investigation, It was reveal that Rashid using sushant’s death to increase his followers and to earn more.
Bollywood Actor Sushant found dead in his home on June 14. The case currently handled by CBI after Mumbai police declared that actor committed suicide. Under the charge of CBI, the case is taking many turns and many famous Bollywood celebrities were questioned.
Followers and Revenue of his Channel increased
In the span of few months, The number of subscribers on Siddiqui’s YouTube channel increased from around 1 lakh to 3 lakh. The revenue of this YouTuber was just Rs 296 in May which then increased to approx 6,50,000 in September . The court granted him anticipatory bail and asked him to cooperate with Police in the investigation.
